Also known as black vinyl fence it is becoming more and more common for general use for domestic properties. It certainly looks more appealing that your metal looking fencing, and would look in place around your pool, or a perimeter fence for your garden, or people now are even using it for rabbit hutches.
Because it is coated in a special vinyl manufacturers are offering at least five year guarantees, which is good value for money which is what we all need in this economy. Just like its other counterpart galvanized it comes in the usual standard sizes.
Generally chain link is measured in gauges, and typically galvanized thickness is 11 gauge, but black vinyl is usually 8 or 9 gauge. It also is a standard length of 50 foot, and you can buy in many different heights, from 3 foot up to 12 foot.

Chain link fence does not have any welds. Instead, each strand of wire is bent into shape and the spun onto the end of the fence like this:
A chain link fence doesn’t really have any strength until it is tensioned. Therefore the two end posts have to be strong and rigid. One advantage of chain link fencing is that the intermediate posts do not have to be at perfectly precise intervals, nor do they have to be perfectly straight.
Although this is just a video showing the process of making the fencing, it should give you an idea of how strong the material is, and you can then understand, that using this type of fencing will greatly help protect your property or business. You could use other products such as timber, or wood panels, but over time with the weather, these tend to rot away, or fall to bits.
And on another plus note for this fencing, it is very competitive in pricing compared to your regular fence panels, and posts that you would put in. It is worth getting a list of every thing you would need for any type of fence, and just compare the prices, I think that you will not be dissapointed with stell mesh fencing.
